We are a team of mostly university students majoring in a wide range of disciplines: law, medicine, education, computer science, economics, psychology, finance, marketing and media – you name it.
We share a passion for making our community and the world a better place by helping improve educational equality and equity.
What is the main difference between KLAP and other volunteer literacy assistance programs?
KLAP is a brilliant supplement to school learning, and different from other volunteer literacy assistance programs in that:
- Its mentors are secondary students whom primary students prefer to read with
- It removes ‘middle man’ so schools are in direct contact, and are able to decide the best way KLAP is carried out at their schools.
